Food Trucks. Craft and Domestic Beer from Growler Haus. Live Music from Cane Creek Bluegrass Band. Big Screen Football. Yard Games. Cornhole Tournaments. Bounce Houses.  I was so excited to be a part of this first time event at Anderson Mall.

I painted a 24" x 36" double bass while listening to the bluegrass band on stage in front of me.  The afternoon sun was warm and my paints dried quickly.  I started and finished the painting during the event, and talked to lots of people as I worked.

This program is part of the Canvas Project, an initiative by the mall to bring local art and creativity to their patrons. I hope that I'll be able to come back to the mall for the event next year.  I am so excited that I was able to participate.  Per my contract, the painting and all the rights to the art becomes property of the mall.  I can't create prints of this artwork, but I enjoyed painting the bass so much that might paint another like it soon!

Stepping back to let someone else handle the manufacturing, shipping, and delivery:  my plan is to shift a lot of the products to places like Redbubble and Zazzle so my international customers can have a better experience with my art.

Let's Stay in Touch.
