Violin in Saffron

I painted this violin in saffron tones to capture warmth and motion, the feeling of sound rising before you even hear the first note.

I painted this early in my music series in 2018, but I never put it on my website until now. The original still lives in our home, and I keep it because it marks the beginning of this body of work.
