Gold Flute 6" x 6" flute artwork - woodwinds watercolor
In middle school band, I had the rare distinction of being a seventeenth-chair clarinet player. I’m not sure that most bands even have a seventeenth chair, but ours was especially large.
One afternoon one my friends who played the flute let me try to play. I have always admired the beauty of the instrument, but I’m sure that my creations were a little less than lovely. I’ll consider this little doodle going towards redeeming my less-than-graceful sounds that afternoon.
This painting would be at home in a music room or studio. This professionally printed giclee of my original watercolor comes framed in a contemporary white-on-white frame and mat.
