A large blue glass carboy sits alongside two oversized mason jars on my kitchen table. This piece is all about scale and the deep, saturated blues of the thick glass. I loved working on the complex reflections where the different jars overlap, using heavy pigment to build up the dark areas while leaving the paper bare for the brightest highlights.
