This work is a set of two 8" x 8" wood panels. I've covered them in copper leaf and collaged these floral paintings to the wood. I can't bear to separate them, so I'm selling these shiny pieces as a set. Georgia designated theCherokee rose (Rosa laevigata) as the official state flower in 1916; and these paintings of the roses would be perfect for a sweet southern wall.
The art is varnished and finished with layers of acrylic and wax. Painted white on the back and edges. Display them on a desk or on a wall, and hang them vertically or horizontally.
Inspired by joy: This original artwork was created with care in my sunny studio in Anderson, South Carolina. Each original artwork includes a signed certificate of authenticity and ships directly from me. I am a professional artist working in watercolor since 2002. I have studied with artists in the US and Germany and have shipped hundreds of original pieces to collectors all over the world.
