I painted this violin with bold watermelon color because strings needed more presence in my collection. I wanted it playful, confident, and unmistakably hand-made. I draw every instrument by hand and paint it in watercolor. The watermelon palette brings rich reds and pinks together with hints of green, giving the piece an energy that suits the violin's expressive range.
